Mindful Meditation Mindful Meditation is a meditation technique that helps you practice being in the here and now. It helps you to be present. We spend so much of our time rushing from place to place, and thinking of what we need to do, and where we need to go that we miss out on a lot of what is happening in the moment. We miss our lives, speeding by us. Mindful meditation helps to reduce stress.
I often recommend learning this technique to my clients to help them learn to be able to focus for just a few moments each day. Many people report feeling calmer and more at peace after learning this technique. Mindfulness is another piece of mind/body work and is about being aware of your body and what you are feeling, and about being present.
