Life can be challenging, difficult and sometimes overwhelming. It can also be fun, joyful and rewarding. How each of us experiences our life is largely dependent on the choices we make. Sometimes making the choice between one road and another can be frustrating. How do you know which choices to make? By acting as a guide toward the path that is right for you, I can help be a sounding board and more. Stop the struggle; find the inner peace that is possible within you. My approach is non-judgmental, supportive and above all, healing. There is no one-size-fits-all in psychotherapy. Each person is an individual, and an individual approach is the key to your own healing. The work you do in therapy is never about blame; only about healing you, the you that you have the potential to be. To realize your full potential and find your right path, contact me for a consultation now to learn how therapy might be the right choice for you. |

Trauma can be emotional or physical. Sometimes a trauma that was emotional in nature is having a physical effect, or vice versa. For example, someone who was molested in childhood may, as an adult, be having physical symptoms that seem completely unrelated, like headaches for which a doctor cannot find a cause. Trauma treatment can include facilitating recovery from childhood abuse: sexual, physical or emotional, or trauma from an accident, a medical or surgical intervention, domestic violence, victim of a crime, survivor of an act of war or a natural disaster and more. Trauma can mean many things to many people; what is traumatic for one person isn’t always traumatic for another. |
